Bishop Gregory Vaughn Eason, SR.
The Right Reverend Gregory Vaughn Eason, Sr., was born in Metter, Ga., and is the son of Reverend William and Mrs. Geneva Washington Eason. He graduated from East Georgia State College in Swainsboro, Georgia in 1981 with an Associate of Arts Degree. He matriculated at Morris Brown College, in Atlanta, Georgia in 1983 (where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Political Science).
He continued his education and was conferred the Master of Divinity degree from Turner Theological Seminary at the Interdenominational Theological Center, Atlanta, GA., in 1986.
He received his Master of Theology degree from Columbia Theological Seminary, Decatur, GA., in 1988, where his thesis was titled, “Suffering, Liberation and Violence: A Study of God’s Presence in the History of Black America.” Bishop Eason received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in May 2011. His project dissertation was titled, “Radical Hospitality, Re-envisioning a Downtown Historic Congregation.”

Supervisor Linda Tyson Eason
Supervisor Linda Tyson Eason is a devoted woman of God whose life reflects a deep love for the Lord and a steadfast commitment to service. A native of the Sunshine State of Florida, she was born the fourth of nine children to Rev. Joseph and Malissa Tyson. At an early age, she accepted God’s invitation to discipleship and began a lifelong journey dedicated to compassionate outreach, ministry, and leadership.
Supervisor Eason attended Clark Atlanta University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. She later returned to the university to earn a Master of Social Work degree from the Whitney M. Young, Jr. School of Social Work.
Professionally, Supervisor Eason is a successful Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, where she has received multiple distinctions as a top-producing real estate agent. She is also a retired social worker with extensive experience in hospice care as a licensed medical social worker, as well as a distinguished career with the State of Georgia Department of Family and Children Services.
